Writing is an art form that transcends mere words on a page; it is an expression of the deepest parts of ourselves. As I sit down to put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard, I am tapping into a wellspring of creativity and emotion that is uniquely mine. Every sentence, every paragraph, is a reflection of who I am and what I believe.

In the video "My Voice on Writing," we are reminded of the power of our words and the impact they can have on others. Just as our voices carry weight in the physical world, so too do our words resonate in the hearts and minds of those who read them. Through writing, we have the ability to connect with people on a level that is intimate and profound.

One of the key concepts highlighted in the video is the idea that writing is a journey of self-discovery. As we explore our thoughts and feelings on the page, we gain insight into ourselves and our place in the world. Writing allows us to make sense of our experiences, to process our emotions, and to find meaning in the chaos of life.

Furthermore, the video emphasizes the importance of authenticity in writing. Our voice is a powerful tool, and when we speak from a place of truth and honesty, our words carry a weight that cannot be ignored. By embracing our unique perspectives and experiences, we can create writing that is both compelling and meaningful.

In conclusion, writing is more than just putting words on a page; it is a reflection of our innermost selves. By tapping into our creativity and expressing our authentic voices, we have the power to connect with others in a profound and meaningful way. So let us continue to write with passion, with purpose, and with our voices ringing loud and clear for all the world to hear.

About

Jules started her writing career when she was 14 years old. Growing up in Chicago, she fell in love with stories offering profound life lessons, and the Windy City sparked her imagination and deep passions for stories about real life situations. She was also inspired by the city’s art, photography, music, architecture and the diverse cultures in Chicago. A move later in life to New York City led to an extensive career in cable TV and programming, that included creating content, developing and editing scripts – and ultimately structuring her own stories in screenplay and novel formats.

In addition to writing stories about ‘what if’ situations, Jules loves to explore cultures from around the world. She has spent a career pursuing cross cultural differences and what cultures teach us about humanity. The Other Side of Goodbye is her first published fiction novel, based in Ireland.  Jules currently lives in North Carolina with her husband, daughter, and Great Dane mix.
