My Dream

stephen king book a memoir of the craft

Someone asked me the other day...if I could have one thing in relation to my writing, what would it be?  My answer: Spend one week with Stephen King and having him take me through the details in his book, On Writing - A Memoir of the Craft...and applying those learnings to my book.

I can only hope that my writing can be as engaging as his one day.

About

Jules started her writing career when she was 14 years old. Growing up in Chicago, she fell in love with stories offering profound life lessons, and the Windy City sparked her imagination and deep passions for stories about real life situations. She was also inspired by the city’s art, photography, music, architecture and the diverse cultures in Chicago. A move later in life to New York City led to an extensive career in cable TV and programming, that included creating content, developing and editing scripts – and ultimately structuring her own stories in screenplay and novel formats.

In addition to writing stories about ‘what if’ situations, Jules loves to explore cultures from around the world. She has spent a career pursuing cross cultural differences and what cultures teach us about humanity. The Other Side of Goodbye is her first published fiction novel, based in Ireland.  Jules currently lives in North Carolina with her husband, daughter, and Great Dane mix.
