Quite a few years ago, I had an idea for a novel based upon a tragic event that occurred on the news. It got me thinking about what if such a tragedy happened to me. Those thoughts turned into a 'life lesson' book about survival in a world gone wrong. Could you pick up the pieces in your life if you lost everything? My first novel will be one example of someone who had to make her way through life when everything fell apart.

About
Jules started her writing career when she was 14 years old. Growing up in Chicago, she fell in love with stories offering profound life lessons, and the Windy City sparked her imagination and deep passions for stories about real life situations. She was also inspired by the city’s art, photography, music, architecture and the diverse cultures in Chicago. A move later in life to New York City led to an extensive career in cable TV and programming, that included creating content, developing and editing scripts – and ultimately structuring her own stories in screenplay and novel formats.
In addition to writing stories about ‘what if’ situations, Jules loves to explore cultures from around the world. She has spent a career pursuing cross cultural differences and what cultures teach us about humanity. The Other Side of Goodbye is her first published fiction novel, based in Ireland. Jules currently lives in North Carolina with her husband, daughter, and Great Dane mix.
